Take a minute before you meet other people. Check your appearance and breathe out gently to remove tension. Turn your phone off or to silent. Smile! It's the perfect way to establish rapport. Hold your bag in your left hand so that your right is free for handshakes.
在和别人见面之前花上一分钟，整理下自己的仪表，平缓地呼气以消除紧张感。别忘了把手机关闭或调成静音状态。微笑!这是建立和谐关系的最佳途径。记得左手拿包，腾出右手来随时准备和别人握手。
Use open gestures rather than folding your arms or crossing your legs. Give an occasional compliment - "I like your dress" or whatever - but don't be insincere or exaggerate it. Dress for the occasion - polished shoes, and easy on the perfume or cologne.
