5月21日，澳洲八大之一——昆士兰大学宣布，从2014年起大批本科专业将开始接受中国高考成绩。沪江网记者为此采访了昆士兰大学国际部中国区经理Lee Henshaw先生，对计划使用高考成绩申请昆士兰大学的同学提出了建议和期待。

宣布接受高考成绩
As a University ranked consistently in the top 3 Universities in Australia UQ is proud to announce its decision to accept the GaoKao for a large number of its Undergraduate programs from 2014. The decision was made this year after a number of reviews indicated the acceptance of the Gao Kao would benefit both Chinese students who in the past could not enter and also attract top quality Chinese students to The University. UQ recognize Chinese students as having a strong academic ability, particularly in theoretical subjects such as the Maths and Sciences. As China’s National University entrance exam, UQ recognize the Gao Kao testing system as one worthy to accept Chinese students for direct entry into UQ Bachelor programs providing they achieve the required scores. These entrance requirements are different for individual programs. A minimum IELTS of 6.5 no sub band lower than 6.0 is required. TOEFL is also accepted at 87 and writing 21.
澳大利亚昆士兰大学本土排名始终位列前三。5月21日，昆士兰大学宣布，从2014年起大批本科专业将开始接受中国高考成绩。今年一些评论指出，接受高考成绩不仅会使原来无法申请昆大的学生受益，而且能为昆大吸引到优质的中国生源，因此，昆士兰大学发布了这项决定。昆士兰大学承认中国学生具有很强的学习能力，其中，在数学和科学等理论学科上表现尤为明显。昆大认为，作为中国的全国高校入学考试，昆大本科专业可以接受高考测试体系成绩，直接接收达到规定分数的中国考生。不同专业的录取分数不同。但总体上，考生雅思成绩总分应不低于6.5，单项成绩不低于6.0。托福成绩应不低于87，写作不低于21。

部分专业不接受高考成绩
The Gao Kao students are open to apply to most programs in Business, Arts, Engineering, Science. There are some Health and Clinical Sciences courses, Gao Kao students cannot apply for as these are graduate entry programs and thus students from other countries and entrance exams including Australia, UK are also not eligible to enter directly.
对高考考生开放申请的大多为商科、艺术、工程和科学专业。高考考生不能申请某些卫生和健康临床医学专业，因为这些专业是针对本科毕业生的培养项目，来自其他国家的学生，包括澳洲和英国的学生也无法直接入读。
分数线划定标准
As UQ is a top ranking University in Australia, many of the Gao Kao requirements represent that of Tier one provincial scores in China. UQ’s current scores are for 2014/15 entry in Australia and will be revised for the 2015 Gao Kao and 2015/16 entry.
昆士兰大学是澳大利亚本土一流大学，许多专业的高考录取分和中国的省重点大学录取分相当。昆大现在的录取分仅适用于澳大利亚的2014/2015学年，2015年高考和2015/2016学年的录取分仍有待修订。
高考成绩不够怎么办
The student still has an opportunity to enter UQ, via The UQ Foundation Program. Depending on the student’s English results (IELTS/TOEFL) they can enter either 27 weeks or 38 weeks program. The pass rate from UQ Foundation into first year at UQ is over 83%.
此外，学生还可以通过昆士兰大学的预科进入昆大。学生可以根据自己的英语成绩（托福或雅思）申请为期27周或38周的预科。通过昆大预科进入昆大本科专业的学生通过率超过83%。
6月后是否能赶上7月入学
Students who attain Gao Kao results in June would be best applying for the February intake the following year, as the timing is too tight for July commencement. This is the same with the majority of Australia’s top ranking Universities that accept the Gao Kao. We anticipate there maybe some students who do not attain the English requirements, yet these students can enter UQ’s English language program in October.
在六月份参加高考的考生最好申请次年二月入学，因为同年七月入学时间太紧。这一点和澳大利亚多数接受高考成绩的一流大学是一样的。我们预计，有些考生英语成绩未能达到规定要求，这些考生可以申请昆大十月份的英语语言课程。
对于高考后申请建议
English proficiency is a very important requirement. We suggest students prepare for their IELTS/TOEFL exam at least 6 months prior to their Gao Kao exam, in order to give them enough time to meet the requirements. UQ does have one of Australia’s leading English Language schools and students who achieve a minimum IELTS of 6.0 can enrol into the Bridging English Program (BEP) for October and on successful completion commence at UQ.
英语流利是一项非常重要的要求。我们建议考生至少要在高考六个月前开始准备雅思或托福考试，这样才有足够时间应考达标。昆大的英语语言学院在澳大利亚位居前列，要申请十月份的语言课程，考生的雅思成绩应不低于6.0，语言课程顺利毕业后，学生才可入学。
申请规划推荐
Students need to ensure they allow plenty of time to apply to UQ as the University receives a large number of applications. Thus, students completing the Gao Kao June 2014 are recommended to apply no later than October, 2014 for February 2015 commencement. UQ will require the students transcripts and completion certificate from their Senior 3 School as well as their official Gao Kao score certificate/transcript. If the student has attained and special scholarships or achievements in school this could be looked upon favourably.
由于昆士兰大学每年都要接受大量申请，考生应为昆大申请预留足够时间。因此，我们建议，在2014年6月参加高考的考生应在2014年10月前提出2015年2月的入学申请。昆士兰大学要求考生提交高中在校成绩单和毕业证、以及官方高考成绩证书或成绩单，昆士兰大学优先考虑在校期间曾获特殊奖励或表现突出的考生。
