GRE考试报名一经确认，考生若要求取消考试并获得返款，请至少在确认的考试日期之前的10天(且不包括考试当天和申请的当天和国家法定节日在内)下午4点之前确认报名中心收到取消申请，否则没有退款。只要符合返款规定，ETS将在考试日期后6-8周自动返款。
GRE退考的反款将在10周内退还，以美元支付;GRE General返款US，GRE WA返款US，GRE SUB无返款。考生若因故未参加GRE考试的，考试费用一律不退。但考试后60天内，考生可凭准考证、有效身份证件向中国国外考试协调处索取缺考退费卡，作为考生本人参加下次考试的部分费用。
如何取得返款?
ETS原文如下：Requesting a refund? A partial refund of $60 is available for the General Test if you cancel your appointment no later than 7 days before your appointment. Send a written request or fax within 60 days of your canceled appointment or voucher expiration date and include your name, date of birth, address, daytime phone number, canceled test date, and credit card number and expiration date or voucher number. Send to GRE CBT Program at the General Inquiries address or fax number. Credit card accounts will be credited.
