1.devastation
当别人都在使用damage、ruin这种简单词时，用devastation这个积极词汇来替代，更能显示自己英语的与众不同哦~

2.cataclysm
这个词可以解释为洪水，用来替代较为简单的flood很好哟~

3.feel lost in desperation
因绝望而迷茫，in desperation的近义词可以为in despair，二者含义相差无几
这里的介词in表示一种状态，有略微的隐含因果关系

4.a burst of light
一束强光
Light找不到合适的量词？这里就是很好的范例

5.gravity
可以解释为物理学中的重力、地心引力
但是像这种看似没什么用处的学术性的词汇，也可以用的很地道
在这里gravity就是重量，可以用来代替第一反应词heaviness
