A video from a bonus feature of the DVD to Chaplin's 1928 film "The Circus" shows a woman talking into something she's holding up to her ear, which arouse the suspection that there is a "time traveler."

美联社29日报道，在观看喜剧演员查理-卓别林1928年拍摄的喜剧电影《马戏团》的DVD时，人们发现一位老太太举手贴耳在对着什么讲话，有人就此怀疑片中人物“穿越了时空”。

It appears to be a mobile phone, although they weren't invented until the 1970s. It's likely the actor is holding a hearing aid, but that hasn't stopped the video from amassing more than two million views on YouTube.

这看似是一部手机，而事实上手机诞生于上世纪70年代。有人怀疑演员拿的是一个助听设备，但这个“穿越”片段还是在YouTube视频网站上获得了超过两百万的点击量。

The clip was discovered and uploaded by Irish filmmaker George Clarke. He claimed the person is a time traveler and that "you just can't explain it."

据悉，发现并上传该片段的是来自爱尔兰的制片人乔治-克拉克。他声称片中演员“穿越”了，而且这一切“难以解释”。

Is time travel really possible? Time travel expert, physicist Michio Kaku said: "There is a loophole in Einstein's equation that even Einstein realized was there. In Einstein's equation, time is a river. It speeds up, meanders, and slows down."
