11～14题是选择题。
11. 原文“I hope that you're all wearing your most comfortable shoes and that you can keep up the pace. ”中提到了“舒服的鞋子”，所以应该选择C，步行。
12. 原文“There used to be a lot of factories in this area until the 1960s. Creating the park required the demolition of lots of derelict buildings on the site, so most of the exciting park space all around you was originally warehouses and storehouses. ”中提到这儿曾经有很多“factories”，所以应该选择B，工业建筑。
13. 原文“If the land was to be cleaned up, they wanted to use the site for recreation. Residents wanted open space for outdoor activities, rather than housing or even an indoor sports complex. ”中提到了三个选项，但是否定了B、C选项。不过三个选项并不是直接出自原文，而是原文的国义替换。如：A选项“leisure”就相当于原文中的“recreation, outdoor activities”。
14. 原文“The tall blue-and-white building in front of us is called The Tower and is the centre point for the formal gardens. ”中清楚地告诉考生应该选择B。这个公园是由两部分构成的：自然区和人工建造区，而塔在人工建造区的中心。可能许多考生不清楚“formal”在本文中的含义，但这并不影响答题。它的意思是“由几何图形构成的”。
15～17题是地图题。
注意在听之前把东西南北四个方向标注出来，这样在听的时候反应会比较快一些。
15. 原文“Out to the east... The Olympic site has its own station to encourage the use of public transport. There is also a car park, but it only holds a limited number of cars. ”清楚地说明了是在东边，而且除了“station”外，那边还有“car park”。

18～20题是表格题。

19. 原文“Frog Pond...The area is now most often used by primary schools for biology lessons. ”中也直接给出了答案。
20. 原文“Waterbird Refuge... This area is in a sheltered part of the estuary, that's why the park's viewing shelter is a favourite spot for bird watchers who can use it to spy through binoculars.”中，答案出现在题干给出的两个信息中间。要特别注意的是，答案要完整，如果只写“shelter”就不能得分了。
